Captain Alberth Neess started the business in 1947. Stellan Persson continues in January 1973 with enlarging and improving the business.  In 1973 Skakhuset also introduced the TOWERCLOCK . Today Skakhuset still offers selections in chess from one of the largest stocks in the world.
